Massapequa’s football team knocked off the nation’s longest winning streak in high school sports with a last-minute touchdown pass, beating Garden City 21-14.

With the game hanging in the balance, Massapequa’s Ryan Chabus came up with a key interception in the closing minutes. That turnover gave Massapequa’s offense one more chance, and it delivered. Quarterback Luke Garguilo threw a 29-yard touchdown pass to Dylan Milio with less than 30 seconds left on the clock, sealing the 21-14 win.
